Industrial Heritage: Regeneration & Sustainability
May 29th – July 28th 2003
Exhibition at the Benaki Museum, organised within the framework of the conference “Industrial heritage: rebirth and sustainability”. Kizis Architects is represented by the following works: Tsalapatas brick and tile Museum in Volos, Forest History Museum Menalon in Chrysovitsi, Arcadia and Redesign of the Piraeus Silo into Museum of Underwater Antiquities.



Yannis Kizis’ lecture in Athens
Yannis Kizis’ lecture entitled ‘Experiences and Designs’ will be held in the City of Athens Cultural Centre, as part of the Hellenic Institute of Architecture lecture series.



Kizis Architects in collaboration with Nikos Belavilas and Vasso Trova, were awarded the third prize in the International Architectural Competition for the Redesign of the SILO of Piraeus and its surrounding open space into the Museum for Underwater Antiquities.



Kizis Architects in collaboration with Gregory Patsalosavvis were awarded a special mention in the Competition for the Department of Biology Building of the University of Cyprus.



Our proposal was awarded the First Prize in the European Architectural Competition for the Development of the former GSP area in Nicosia, Cyprus.



Architecture in the Landscape
Yannis and Costandis Kizis write about the integration of the Masticha Museum into the natural landscape of Chios island, for the first issue of Greek Architects Review.







Wish Awards 2010
Yannis Kizis was awarded the Science Award by Wish Magazine.





We were granted the Association s prize for the Mt Mainalon Museum of Forestal History, in the category of Architecture in Agricultural and Traditional Settlements.



Kizis Architects was granted the 2nd prize in the architectural competition for a New Shopping Mall in Platanias, Crete.
